As everyone gets off the raft they see a young child of about ten skipping/walking towards them while eating an apple when he gets to the group he says "Hi my names ted!" taking a bite out of his apple he then pulled out another one and asked "Anyone want an apple? Also why'd you guys land here? There's a dock in the village you know"

this is ted he's a ten year old pirate, he is very people friendly and loves apples. He likes to give people apples, after all if you have something good you should share it. He has infinite apples and apple cider because of a boon from the nightwatcher, he is originally from nalthis and has some other intresting stuff. He's very mischievous and is much stronger than he looks. I could say more but thats too much work so thats all for now

For emphasis, Javi (who had never been to Lumar personally but had heard of it many times), pulled out a water skin and dripped a single drop into her hand. She flicked it towards the spore sea, and it flew quite far, landing in the spores.

A column of pink-tinged, quartz-like crystal erupted from where the droplet had landed and into the sky with a resounding crack.

"See?" Javi said as the Roseite crystal began to sink into the seething spores.
