Anguish is a Servant of Fear and of Rage. Except Fear doesn’t have to follow the same rules…

The flames, a wave of black enveloping the room, were encroaching slowly, at the same time as her vision getting worse and worse.

The flames hurt as they neared him. But they didn’t radiate any heat - rather, they seemed to radiate an almost numb feeling. A disconnect.

They almost touched him, but he was able to find some shelter.

As of now, his vision was significantly reduced, darkness surrounding him.

“Well, in your proximity to the Archstone, I was able to do something. Fear’s specific… effect… should be less limiting to you.”

"The heck is this stuff?" He muttered, then glanced around for a window.

Suddenly, all around them, the flames dissolved. Anguish gave a guttural cry, falling to their knees, then scrambling away.

A new figure appeared, and the figure with white. Her hood was down, and she had gouges where her eyes should have been.

”I am that Soul aligned to Truth. I… I will not be able to keep Anguish away for long.”

Cole flips a coin to figure out where to go, then uses wind to force it to fall on its edge. He takes off to check the town in absence of directions from Freedom or Gronk. Getting higher up, he heals from the wounds his failed attack caused.

That would be interesting, especially character personality-wise. Cole is pretty strong already, though, and piling more abilities on him might break the plot. Your choice; I think it’d be fun, but not if it would mess up other things.

The light around him seemed to suffuse him with strength. A passive strength, not the raging force of adrenaline.

Fear is afraid, though he tries to hide it. It is not the cowering fear of one scared out of their wits. It is the seething fear of paranoia, the fear that drives one to action.

That was a Servant?! She was surprised that a Servant could be that powerful.

You are more powerful than you know. And that was a Servant of Fear, as well as Anger. Anguish gains power in the dark, and in the silence. Two easy things to be around… that is why they wear a mask. And Fear is not bound like us…

Are you okay? You need to get out of the heat.

The building, though the shelter he had found was outside of it, was radiating intense, nauseating heat.
