No, sorry it wasn't very clear!! I'm not trying to be a control freak, I just want to make sure I'm consistent with everyone so it stays fair.

I'll wait for Dragonheir to reply, and then we can have you find the group Jerehlu is sending.

Jerehlu had stopped again, raising a hand to shield his eyes as he stared forward.

"That's odd . . . the wagon has stopped, why aren't they leaving the trees?'

He motioned for a small squad to separate from the group and approach the fight to figure out what was going on. Alvar could go with them, or stay here.

Alvar waits at Jerehlu’s side. He couldn’t get anything if someone killed him before he could try, after all. “I think the adventurers are fighting back. No reason to break cover.”

"Yes, but the plan was to have them run out and fully occupy their attention while we come up from behind . . ."

Nera ducked inside the wagon. If they weren't going to run out at her, then she'd just hide.

A few more arrows hit, burrowing into the wood, their tips almost coming out the other side.

----

The squad that'd been sent up to investigate the other group creeped through the brush on the side of the road. It was impossible to avoid snapping a few twigs, but they did their best.

From a position where she could duck away, she looked for the archers.

Dint finally woke up. Honestly.

He took in the arrows, Nera’s distress, and came to the conclusion that he should probably help.

Dint immediately got to work, cutting a hole into the bottom of the wagon with his daggers and going through, crouching out of sight as he aimed and shot at one of the archers.

She catches a glimpse of a grey tunic through the trees. They were moving around, but not coming out. With a little patience, she could probably hit one.

The arrow disappears into the woods. There might've been a soft yelp, but no real confirmation it hit something.

From below the wagon, he can make out some shadowy feet between the shrubbery. His shot lands somewhere between, and the people he can see jump away from that spot.

Fortunately, she had it. She took her time before firing.

The grey moved a few yards, finding a spot between the trees to get a better view of the wagon. Luckily for Lusha, this hole in the brush worked both ways, and she had a clear shot.

She aimed for a non-lethal area and fired.

At them? Or just to use herself?

The arrow shot into the trees, landing a bit lower, likely in the persons leg. She saw a flash of movement as their legs buckled, but they didn't yell out or scream.

“Stop,” she instructed the horses. She hopped down and approached, bow drawn and loaded.

She saw a scramble of movement in the bushes, as the person who fell starts to crawl away, clearly un-able to stand.

The sword shoots into the forest, and hits something with a loud crack. Once again, there's not really a scream to indicate whether it his someone or not.

Eublech loads up a poisoned dart in his blowgun, shooting it towards anything moving outside.

@Magi

They scrambled more, but not faster then she could run. Lusha was close enough to kill or grab them directly now.

Each one lands somewhere with a sizable thunk. People in the wood stir, running here and there trying to avoid getting hit.

Jerehlu frowned, looking at Alvar.

"That's extremely unlikely . . . they have no reason to be."

He find more, these ones much deeper though.

He hits a figure, one of the further off ones. It stumbles a bit, falling to it's knees.

She grabbed them and flipped them so she could see their face/mask.

She flipped them over to find . . . a man in his late twenties with faint facial hair--he was not wearing a mask. The man was wearing a grey, militaristic uniform, with green accents.

A crowns guard.

He hits another foot, and this time, the falling figure did let out a satisfying grunt.
