She almost gently bonked his head with her bow. "Wake up."

Dint groggily came to, blinking and groaning as he unsteadily stood.

As he shaded his reddened eyes with his arm, his gaze sharpened as the disorientation began to fade. “What’s happening? Are we under imminent attack?”

“No. I convinced the others not to do something stupid, and I’m writing a letter to the lord.”

His mind worked painfully slowly through the web of exhaustion. It did click, eventually. “They were going to abandon the deal, weren’t they?”

“Pretty much, yeah.”

He nodded, placing a hand to the bridge of his nose. He pushed back feelings of sickness (from sleep deprivation)

”How can we trust that they are really going through with the deal?”

“We’ll have to wait and see. They ran over that way, if you want to check on them.” She found her paper and started drafting the letter.

Dint stumbles towards them, but then forgets why he was there.

He looked uncertainly at them, confused.

Eublech's eyes widen and he scrambles to hide his red tear-covered face.

Well, Dint didn’t particularly notice. Eublech, if he were to notice this type of thing, might notice that Dint’s eyes were extremely red.

Dint glared at him. “I guess if it’s sensitive, I’ll back off, then.”

Nera looked up at him, "You really forgot? Did Lusha send you to get us, maybe?"

She patted him on the shoulder again.

"So, It'll be alright, and stuff."

"Let's go rejoin the other then, we should get moving before the bandits get a chance to catch up."

Also, spark, I need you to tell me how the cloud dryads work, and how exactly they'd deliver the letter for plot reasons
