Jerehlu will be going with the second group that plans on coming from behind. The bandits seem fairly loyal, and if not loyal then content enough with his decisions. Most of them seem to be glad someone else is in charge and making the tough calls. There isn't any outright dislike of him.

Alvar sticks with him. For any of his objectives, it’s beneficial.

"Is anyone else hurt? We should really get out of here, the bandits might come back now that the sun has risen and the gas has cleared."

Heartache whimpers in pain.

Dint nods. “I agree.”

"Sounds good!"

Nera stood, dusting her hands off. She climbed into the blue wagon and finished unloading the last of the cargo, this time being far more careful of traps.

After about half an hour they were able to get everything of importance moved to the red wagon, including Master Igenes's things which Nera felt guilty about leaving behind.

"Dint, you were the one with the healer stuff right? Will you help Heartache?" Nera asked.

Don’t nodded, and limped over to Heartache, muttering a small spell to moderately, though not nearly drastically, hasten healing and enhance his herbs.

There we go.

I wasn’t sure what my healing magic would be :)

Perfect! We're just kinda going for basic DnD ish worldbuilding unless I think of something that needs to be different (like the mimic) so expect magic and stuff to work roughly that way (I'm saying you have to keep track of spell-slots or anything, just that it runs on a basic spell-casting system you've seen hundreds of times instead of having a unique magic system).

Heartache relaxes thanks to the spell, then adjusts her armor. She then notices that the previously white fur on her has turned a brick-like red, and some notably deep cuts on her back were beginning to heal at a rapid pace.

"a-ah, right. Was sort-of rushed with the bandits and all that. Didn't have time to put on proper clothes like a lady of my status should. J-just the crown..." Princess Heartache stated while her cheeks were turning a bright pink, in reference to the filthy and bland clothes that covered her under her armor. She then stretches her wings, and adds "By the way, I am a princess, the reason why I never talked about it is because everyone but the king... [in a very bitter tone] my... "father", has standards and are decent people, and my existence back home would likely end up with the entire castle guard turning on my dad thanks to their oaths of chivalry, and several loyalist swine trying to bring me to ruin for being living evidence. Not something you'd find useful, especially as a bodyguard, so it's likely a good thing for me that they're too busy trying to tell if my brother can claim the throne or not."

Ha! "Improv lore dump covering over a questionable moment." Classic.

Dint snorted and walked away, climbing back to the top of the wagon, his side paining him and his eyes slowly making their way shut. He had to shake himself a few times to prevent sleep.

"Oh okay," Nera said after listening. "That's very interesting."

She hoped onto the wagon, dumping her bag into it. Hopefully the single wagon would be enough to carry all of them and their stuff, but she supposed there was really only one way to find out.

"I'd drive but my arms are too short."

"I guess I'll try anyway then," Nera said with a sigh when no one volunteered. She'd need rest too, so hopefully they could take shifts driving during the day. For now, their priority would be to get away from the area as quickly as possible.

The wagon began to roll through the grass with a creak as she flicked the reigns. It was slower now, and the bigger load would be harder on the horses, but it would work.

Soon, they were back on the road, passing flat green fields of dry grasses. By mid-morning, Nera switched with someone else to drive, and took a rest.

Everything was smooth going for about 4 hours. Just as the sun began to reach noon, something appeared on the horizon, large and bulky.

As they got closer, it became clear what it was--a humble building, made of wood and stones. A way stop, or an inn or some sort.

Lusha had woken up a couple hours after they left. (Can we say they recovered her bow? I think she lost it) She’d taken the reins for Nera.

Yeah that's fine, I skipped past moving the other horse to the one wagon too, we can assume they took their time gathering everything of use

Nera was napping in the seat next to her, eyes close and snoring softly.

"Hmm?" She mumbled, coming awake. "Why are we stopping?"

"Oh, alright . . . maybe we should check inside? They might have medical supplies and food, which we're low on," She said, rubbing her eyes.

Dint had not slept at all, staying on watch the entire time. The effects of his herb mixture had long worn off, and he felt extremely exhausted.

Dint eyed the inn, uncertain. “I will need to restock,” he said quietly.

"We'd better go see what's inside then."

Dint slowly stepped towards the inn, bags under his eyes.

Nera follows him.

It's an incredibly tiny place. The first room is what might be a common room in other taverns, it had a small counter across from the door, and 2 tables crammed onto the remaining floor space. The walls were covered in shelves full of all sorts of junk and oddities, and you could see the kitchen directly behind the counter, just as full of stuff.

A young dwarvish girl was in the middle of sorting trinkets on the counter, putting them in color-coded piles.
