https://www.brandonsanderson.com/ has like an entirely new format... Like what? How new is this? Any thoughts? I think it looks better, defiantly an upgrade. Not expecting though.

Interesting. Looks like a slog time of checking as many brandonsanderson.com forum links as we can find to see which ones are now broken (or redirected). . .

Sorry for the double post. I struggled with if I should reply here (as a double post) or in the Unpopular Opinions thread - and I chose this because I do not know if it will be an unpopular opinion or not, and I figured any discussion on the website should probably stay in a thread about the website.

That said, it's been a few months since the change, and I just want to say how much I really dislike the new website. I feel like it really needs to use Adaptive Design (like this site) and not force PC to use a mobile site format. The "blog" section now includes a ton of things that were not blog entries, and tries to force them into the Blog page template (and does so poorly). Finding content is near impossible without saved links because the search only returns massive "faux-blog" squares of results (and only 6 per page) reserving a huge amount of screen space to pictures that don't exist per-post (all just using a default, useless, image) and the result can neither be filtered nor organized (some "blogs" imply they use tags, but we can't use those to search or filter why?). Also many links are unintuituve - such as going to Books > Stand Alone > Warbreaker (but no link to jusp to that section) > Annotations does not take you to the First annotation post - it takes you to a Blog Search for annotations, that has the last annotation post - which means you either need to go to page 44 of the results to find the first one, or open the last annotation and use the list of annotation there to find the first annotation. It also removed the Chapter - Annotation links that allowed somebody to, for example read:  Prologue > Prologue annotation > Ch 1 > Ch 1 Annotation > etc.

Okay, sure, the website looks "modern" (which I disagree is a good thing) - but form over function is never a good tradeoff, and I feel this site loses far more than it gained by the "update."

Sorry </rant>
