Rye's only goal right now is to get as many useful things as possible so that he can make new weapons and gear to replace the ones that were stolen.

April came down next. She, too, had ditched the formal robes she hated wearing, opting for a dress that looked as though it was made from a potato sack. Her snood didn’t cover her head, though she could pull it up at a moment’s notice.

June--Wants to get away from August

August--wants to get June, July and April to a safe place

"Good morning April!" July called cheerfully, "How're you?"

She shrugged and sat near him. "I've better than I've been for almost ten years, so.. that's something."

"Wonderful!" He passed her a cup and the carton of orange juice. June rolled his eyes, optimism was not his thing.

"We're going to go to your village next, right? That'll be fun," July continued, "I'm sure we'll figure out the exact plan once August gets up."

"Yeah. But, as much as I'd love to, I think we need to take them and get out of there. If January tracks me down..."

"Where do you think you'll go?" July asked, "There are lots of good places to hide, I found a ton when I was on my own."

"Yeah, when you got found," June snickered, "Fantastic places to hide, I'm sure."

"Whatever," July said waving his hand in the air.

"I don't know," she admitted. "But you guys are my family, too, and I don't want to say goodbye to you either."

June tensed, and looked away, "Everybody? What're we gonna do with Ahnnie?"

Niamh tromped into the room, hair a mess and bags under her eyes.

She regarded them silently for a moment before walking outside to get some fresh air.

June watched her as she went past.

Outside, the street was oddly quiet for this time of day. People should be out and about now, but they weren't.

“Who’s… Ahnnie?”

"Oh yeah, you just met yesterday huh." June said after taking a sip of orange juice. He gestured back at September with his other hand, "That's Ahnnie."

September perked up at his table, hearing their conversation.

"June, I have told you not to call me that."

"But it's funny!" June replied innocently, a sweet smile on his face.

“If he asked not to call him that, you shouldn’t.”

September stood, crossing the room to them by following there voices.

"It's fine, April, it's better then the name of a dead woman."

June nodded sympathetically, "And Ahnnie just suits him, y'know?"

She immediately went back inside.

"There's no one out there," she observed to the others, walking over and sitting wherever they were sitting.
