Tense in the wiki

I was just wondering how tense should be applied in the wiki - I am editing the Alethkar article, and it is difficult writing the history of Alethkar in the same tense as the most up to date information we have.

Is there a rule as to what should be in past tense and what should be in present?

Everything in-universe should be in past tense, as, to us, it's already happened. The articles on Books, Series and People (irl) can be present tense.

I personally feel that articles about magic and other things of that sort are acceptable for present tense, however. We have not formally determined our style guide yet, though.

Yeah, in my mind it made sense that people that haven't died and systems that were never destroyed should be in teh present tense.
