@Ookla the Silver, here's a test.

An awakened metal humanoid thing towering at ten feet steps out of a door in the sparring arena, huge iron fists. 

Alan goes "Three, two one!"

And the awakened 'thing' runs towards Maki.

This is meant to see if you can think fast enough for a strategy not using a feeble dagger as a weapon, althoug sighsleeper isn't really 'feeble'

Maki draws her dagger and awakens her pants. "Become as my legs and give them strength" she commands. Dropping from  the second heightening to the first, she jumps with her newly strengthened legs onto the giant. She starts stabbing.

Sighsleeper barely makes dent in the metal, but you notice as it reaches for you that it's joints hvae small cracks in them as they turn, as if the cylinders that form the arms don't fit perfectly together. It tries to grab your shirt to throw you off.

"That's odd, must be aluminum." Maki cuts off the section of the shirt its holding and stabs into it's elbow.

Sighsleeper sticks into the joint, and a metallic roar comes from the beast. It swings its arm wildly.

"To win, it only has to not be able to fight back!" Alan shouts.

The beast tries to throw Maki away by swinging itself wildly.

She launches herself off the metal man and recovers her breath from her pants. She grabs a rope from nearby and awakens it "Bind things" she Commands as she throws the rope at the beast, dropping to only a few breaths.

The rope wraps it's legs and drops it to the floor. It begins to drag itself towards Maki.

"Here is everything you will need." Inside is a plank of wood, maybe two feet across and six inches wide, also inside is a key, along with a small toolbox, nails hammer, screws, screwdriver.

"Let me demonstrate" The voice says. A mechanical arm pops out of the wall, picking up a random stone on the ground and tossing it. Darts pop from the holes as it passes them.

"This is part one of your test, starting now."

Zarin wandered around to find a glowing Ella on the floor. Suddenly, the glowing stopped.

Zhanat held the plank and waved it in front of the holes.

Darts shoot into the plank.

To clarify, the holes are in a pattern, not just random. Every three feet or so, there is a row of four holes in the wall, that goes up and down. The side of the wall that the holes are on alternates, and there is four sets of them in the hallway.
