xq whispers a gutteral sound, followed by another and another, like a prayer. he's crying a bit while he says it. "forgive me, friend" and he makes another gutteral noise, then his eyes go dark. "i am still me, but i am muted. do not worry for me."

What is happening...

Vena turned to him. "What? What happened?"

Rallohir is too consumed in his own thoughts to notice whats going on. He thinks about what has happened, why he must have been fighting... what was his purpose?

xq slouches a bit. "nothing, nothing, its nothing, leave me alone."

"Are you okay? You don't really seem okay..." Vena examined him closely, awkwardness lost for a moment and replaced by concern.

What role did he play in this world. What kind of person was he? Was he good or bad, shy or confident, powerful or weak, smart or dumb. Was he a friend to Vena, or something more? Was he worth something? He didn't feel like he was particularly special, although he had killed a very powerful being hadn't he? He couldn't remember...

Vena glanced back at Rallohir, and decided that she'd check in with him in a moment.

"no, i don't. nobody truly does. but thats why people are so strongly knit. they gain things they dont deserve"

"I can't say I agree with that... but you do have people who care about you, either way. So that's something."

Vena dropped behind to where Rallohir was walking. "Hey.... How are you doing?"

@Rallohir

He felt some of his anxiety lessen, "Oh, well that's definitely a positive."

She nodded. "Do you have any other questions, or anything?"

"Who was I? What were my interests?"

"Well... you're something of a fighter, and you have some interesting knife-related magical abilities. You also know wrestling, and your favorite color is cobalt blue." She smiled slightly to herself at the last one. "Honestly, I haven't known you for quite long enough to know too many details."

"That sounds... right. Thank you." He smiled back.
