"well, imagine it like a conflict. the guy wants to take something. you dont want to give up that thing. how would the arbiter deal?"

"I do want to give up that thing. If it means protecting someone else. I don't see why it matters what Arbiter would say, anyway. He's not here."

"your emotions are clouding your judgement." his eyes turn a shade of gray. "sometimes... sometimes emotion can get in the way of what you have to do."

"What I have to do is help other people. I don't have much of a purpose besides that."

"well, help your friend. or maybe dont. you obviously dont have the mental bandwidth to do such a thing. you act like a child, but you must learn that you are just as important as others." xq sighs without emotion. "you gotta know when to let go"

I cannot for the life of me understand what point he is trying to make. She can't really help him, she's just waiting for him to wake up. Mental bandwidth for what? And I don't think that children generally have the problem of thinking less of themselves than others.

"Well anyways, it's too late now. I hope he's okay..." Vena looked down at Rallohir, and kept waiting.

@Rallohir

His eyes opened and he sat up, rubbing his head. He didn't know where he was, or why he was on the ground. He wasn't quite sure who he was either. He spent a few moments trying to figure that out when he noticed he wasn't alone. Standing nearby was a young man with scars along his arms, and next to him was a beautiful young woman with short brown hair and silvery eyes. He realized he was staring and looked away, an apparent look of confusion on his face. "Where am I? Why was I sleeping on the ground? Do I know you people?"

"You're awake!"

As he spoke, Vena felt that pit of dread grow further. She went pale. "Yes, you do know us. You... can't remember." Tears sprang to her eyes. "I'm so sorry, Rallohir."

Idea: What if once he starts getting his memory back, he gets older memories back first, so he has to relive all of the pain and trauma of his past, then the way he was when he was working for Athena, and that's all difficult to process.

"Yes. It is. We had a fight with some sort of entity... and it took your memories."

It should have been me. It should have been me.

"I don't know. I guess you could say I'm new to all of this." Vena wiped away her tears, trying to remain calm.

"I'm confused, am I in danger, what will make this so painful?"
