I'm sure some of you Sharders recall that Brandon mentioned a couple of months back that there was a kandra worldhopper somewhere in the Cosmere. Some of you may even recall discussing the possibility of he or she being Iyatil - but that's not important at the moment.

What is important at the moment is that we may have a gotten a clue as to what era this kandra is in, and perhaps even a hint as to his/her motives, from this WoB on the Goodreads Q&A:

Q: Did the Lord Ruler know how to worldhop?

A: He was familiar with the idea that people lived on other planets, but had no interest--or experience--in visiting other places. During his Ascension, he could have left Scadrial, if he'd wished.

It's not definite, but it does seem to tell us something; considering that the Lord Ruler was disinterested in visiting other places, we can perhaps, safely rule out that the kandra was dispatched by him.

Therefore, I propose that this kandra was sent by Sazed, and considering the timeline, we should be looking heavily at the Stormlight Archive for clues (obviously). I don't recall when Warbreaker is, but perhaps that's worth checking out too.

Thoughts?

I have no clue where to look, or who it could likely be, with this world hopper being a kandra, it could very well be Dalinar's horse! But I am all for this Kandra being sent by Sazed. Since Sazed finds it difficult to act because of the opposing intents of his shards, he may have enlisted some agents to go scout the Cosmere. At some point Sazed will have to decide to act, and may use his various agents to fight other powerful shards and their agents.

Just to sneak in and steal some credit, this was one of my questions XD
This was one of the things I was interested in finding out actually, if perhaps the Kandra was still carrying out some mission TLR started but it seems he wasn't particularly interested in other Shardworlds.
As for it being from Sazed I'm not sure, he's a bit too non-interventionist to worry about other worlds too much.
I just hope that this Kandra eventually makes it's way to Roshar so that Kaladin can have a pegasus :P

Well then, thank you for providing the question! I asked whether the kandra predated the Lord Ruler's death or Sazed's ascension, but I think I failed to submit it within the time limits given. But this works out nicely enough.

I don't think Saze would necessarily have wanted the kandra to go stir up trouble, just to look around... but maybe this one's imitating Kelsier a little bit and interfering without his permission.

I think it'll be a character who's been identified (not necessarily by name) before. Otherwise, it'd be a waste of time for Brandon to give us that tidbit.

Has anyone tried asking BS for a hint of where the Kandra Worldhopper is, if it's in the books? We could start on an even more epic hunt than the Elantris Worldhopping clue.

TenSoon knows how to be a horse...

Haha, yes but I doubt Brandon would tell us if that were the case, unless it's very obvious that the horse is not quite a horse. He'll have left clues, it's up to us to unearth them.

Yes, I did but I think my question was submitted too late. Voidus did get an answer though, and it relates enough to my own question.

I'm not sure I buy it being Dalinar's horse Gallant. He goes on a bunch about the odd things about his horse being standard to all Roshadian steeds, not something unique to Gallant. Cool idea, and I'd love it if it were, true, but I doubt it.
