Praxis_Kumar Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 (edited) This is my first fan fiction, and as you can tell I'm not a very good writer. I just had an idea that I wanted to write down. Its a Stormlight Mistborn Era 2 crossover. Right now its only a few paragraphs. Spoiler Allen dogged the swinging laces steel his guide. There were six creatures attacking him. In the distance, a pool of light glowed. He needed to get over the sea of beads, but if he tried to fly, he was sure the creatures guarding it would slice him to bits. With no way to dodge their lances. He calculated for a second, then increased his speed and spun. Spraying coins towards the enemies in front of him; the coins shredded through them, all but one healed; orange blood slowing as the wounds sealed. He had not been expecting that this would be harder than he had thought. All of them charged him again, lances pointed at him. He grabbed another hand full of coins and aimed more carefully, and shot them one after another at a creature’s head. One more down before he had to dodge out of the way. He reached into his aluminum pouch and realized he had used up his coins. “Rusts” He needed a weapon. Searching steel lines, he spotted the lance of the enemy he had just killed. He increased his speed twenty fold, almost beyond what he could process, and using steel as his guide ran towards the fallen lance. He grabbed it, then decreased his speed and threw it towards the middle creature’s neck. The lance was broad enough it sliced its head clean off. Three left. He slid under the swinging lances of the ones that remained; they had worried expressions on their faces. He found an anchor behind himself, then pushed on the enemies’ lances. The force of it nearly crushed him as it flung the creature's back and ripped the lances out of their hands. They stopped in the air, looking bewildered. Then withdrew silvery blades from their waists. No allomantic lines, aluminum. “Damn” They surrounded him. He drew two hollow aluminum daggers from his belt and tapped speed. They attacked. He was a blur of motion in his own mind, his body reacting out of instinct, not thought. Weaving in between strikes, battering them away. He spun, keeping them at bay just long enough to move to the next. They were as fast as or faster than a pewterarm. He was holding them, but he would probably tire before they did and was already moving at a dangerous speed. Seeing an opening, he cleared his mind and tapped even more speed. No breath or thought, just motion. He ducked under a swing and between two of the creatures, turned and pelted the creature's back with strikes from his daggers. It stopped healing from the strikes; then started to fall in slow motion to the ground. Before it hit the ground, he had already started attacking the second one. It fell as well. He moved to the third and stabbed it straight through the eye and chest. The slight glow in its eyes went out, and it slumped to the ground. He dropped his speed, gasping for air, his muscles drained from moving the weight of his daggers so quickly. He sat for a minute to rest and to make sure the creatures were dead. Then he burned steel and picked up all the coins he could find. Dropped one and launched himself through air towards the perpendicularity. It was liquid and light at once, at least the one on Scadrial was. This one looked similar. All this way and he was finally here, Cultivation's perpendicularity. He stepped into the pool and a raging storm met him on the other side. Edited May 24, 2023 by Praxis_Kumar 1
