Honnorblade

Recommended Posts

Maybe Adolin will get it. He's the Only Nor Raidant Kholin, besidex the King. And the Bridgemen are all squires.

Not going to happen. Kal would never let it in Adolin's hands: they are barely starting to trust each other. Besides Syl mentions the honorblade is dangerous. It would therefore contradicts Kal's oath to protect the Kohlins to let a potentially dangerous blade into the hand of one.

My guess is someone in bridge four is save keeping it. Maybe they are taking turn carrying it to avoid bonding it.

However, I could see Kal giving it to Elhokar  He feels guilty for the near assassination attempt. He may feel he owes it to him.

really hope that he gives it to his dad. He'd be the only person I'd trust with it. Then again, if he keeps it, it might have some cool bonuses... I'd be ok if it was alternating with the bridgemen, but I don't really want Elhokar to have it.

I don't think Ehlokar is ready for that kind of power (I mean he isn't ready for the power he already has) if Ehlokar is going to be a Radiant, I really think he should earn it. I love the Idea of Lirin getting it but I am of the opinion that if Ym is dead and his spren wasn't Glys, then it would have found it's way to Lirin quick smart.

At least for the moment, it's going in a box. It drains stormlight far too quickly, and Syl says it has a dangerous lack of limiters. Dalinar might pick it up, because he's good at using Shardblades and doesn't presently have one, but I don't think it'll go to someone who doesn't have radiant powers that might allow them to at least somewhat control the drain rate. It might just sit around until a Herald shows up. However, it's also possible it'll serve as a last resort; lacking a mechanism to prevent dangerously high rates of Stormlight use translates to being able to dump all available stormlight into a single lashing instantly, possibly enabling the wielder to fling around even extremely heavily invested targets that would ordinarily be immune to direct Surgebinding attacks.
