mycoltbug Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 http://www.17thshard.com/wiki/The_Way_of_Kings On the table do you like the center justify or the right justify? Also is that where you would like the epigraphs, hoid's letters, jasnahs notes, and the table? If not tell me where they should go.
Eerongal he/him Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 My vote goes for center justified. I think it'd look better that way. Also, i see no problem with the epigraphs and all that where they are, what were you considering instead?
mycoltbug Posted September 14, 2010 Author Posted September 14, 2010 I was thinking to put Jasnah's notes and Hoids letter in with their characters. *Edit* Added the center justification on all of them.
Chaos he/him Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 The center justify looks good. I would prefer if we named the Part Two epigraphs "The letter" (or, "the missive", as that's the term the author uses) instead of "Hoid's Letter". Since we don't explicitly know it's him, we sorta need to be impartial on our naming conventions.

"The Missive" might just confuse people who dont know what the word is, where as if we call it a letter, im sure people will readily know what we're talking about. It's simpler and speaks to broader audience. I'm not trying to insult anyone's intelligence, but since we're collecting info, we may as well pander to the largest crowd we can.
Chaos he/him Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 No, I agree. Especially before it was published, we called it "the letter". Of course, it was usually "Hoid's letter", but still
neverearth she/her Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 As a note, Peter Ahlstrom said that the the Ars Arcanum has a typo in my thread here ---> http://www.stormblessed.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=166 So I switched Just/Confident and Learned/Giving on the wiki, and put in a source citation, which we can remove if they fix that in the next printing of the book.
Chaos he/him Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 If you haven't, already, Gabrielle, could you post that topic in the Stormlight Archive forum here, too? That's awesome stuff.
