Shard Numbering

Are the shards numbered? If so is their numbering significant? 16 is important in Mistborn for instance, especially to Ruin. As the end of all things it would make sense for Ruin to be the final shard. The Omega shard if you will. The number 10 seems important to Honor, and Odium disagrees and says only 9 of honors 10 are true.

Not every Shard has a number and those numbers don't appear to be always as important to some Shards as they are to others.

It seems that certain colors and numbers appear frequently in specific Cosmere books, like the number 5 in Warbreaker or red and blue in Elantris. Do these colors or numbers happen to refer to a specific Shard, and if so, would they be consistent across the cosmere?
