I've played Turbine's other MMO, Dungeons and Dragons Online. It had some good concepts (and an astoundingly troll-free player community), but it also lacked polish in a lot of ways.

So far, my experience with LOTRO is limited to this gut-bustingly hilarious series.

My friend who's playing it with me described in a way i can agree with. It's kinda like a mix between DDO and WoW, and is relatively more polished than DDO.
