Ri$h Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Hi All, I am not sure why it took me so long to discover Brandon Sanderson's writing but I am glad that I was introduced to his fantastic universe. I was looking for some writing advice on YouTube when I stumbled upon his channel where his lectures at BYU were posted. His lectures are a diamond mine, to say the least. After that, I went over his website and found his collection of books. Needless to say, I was embarrassed to have not heard of him before. I read his draft of skyward on his site and was floored by his worldbuilding. Then moved on to read his Mistborn trilogy (which I completed in less than a week ). I have now started on Stormlight Archives. I have become his fan and am so glad to find this community. 1
Morningtide she/her Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Welcome to the shard! What's your favorite book so far? I love all of Brandon's lectures that I've seen so far, and I've been meaning to watch more for a while!

The world of Roshar is so different, the history is so rich, and have read the prelude 5 times. 1

That's admirable. I had a hard time getting through the prelude the first time. Just wait until you re-read the book (as you inevitably will). Welcome to the Shard!
