Dawnshards, Command, Intent, and the Hoid Connection.

Having waited until the recent release for the audio for Dawnshard, I know that I may be a little late on the discussion, but I watched the Shardcasts on Dawnshard(s) and I would like to give what could be valuable expert opinion on definitions like Command, Intent, and their relationship. (I supervised executive leadership and communication courses for various successful companies.) then I would like to end off with some opinions about what the Dawnshards might be, and what Hoid's mysterious mission might be.

"Something you want to happen," is obviously an intention, but an intention can have varying degrees of intent. The highest intent, is truly KNOWING it will happen and so it happens. From my professional experience... like when I have a client that tells one of his or her employees to go accomplish a task or achieve a target, the intention behind the command is a very interesting art and is the real subject of my profession.The more KNOWING that is in an intent, the more chance the command has of generating everything required to carryout the command. We often drill this with fun exercises and drills increasing certainty or "Knowing," when delivering commands.

There are also varying degrees of knowing. Knowing appears to encompass the specifics and nuances in the command itself and doesn’t necessarily need visualization because it can potentially transcend it. The command DELIVERS the intention. Or manifests it. For example, the command usually doesn’t literally have to be “CHANGE” each time Rysen delivers a command in the future, should she ever get invested or however that would work. I can imagine Rysen having an intent for something to change and delivering the command with with word “NOW” at the end of a sentence. Just like in the real world.. if your intention is high enough you don’t even need verbal commands.. or you can use random words instead of the exact words.When drilling potential executives, we often have them substitute the words of the command with random words to really attempt at dialing in on what intention really is. 

For a mortal, the exact words will help alot, but for a god, or a shard, or a being who KNOWS.. the words don't really mean much. Perhaps this is why we are being led to believe that dawnshards can wreak havoc when utilized by average IQ individuals.

Potential Dawnshard theories: We know one is CHANGE. Which leaves 3 more, with one being different than the other 3. 

Birth. Growth. Decay. 

Create, Survive, Destruction. The circle of life can be written tons of ways... but the most fundamental way is..

START. CHANGE. STOP. 

Then we just throw in some life, emotions, and awareness into it. LIVE. or EXPERIENCE, or BE AWARE. something like that.

HOID.

I think Hoid knows the Cosmere is off balanced and doomed because of the uncreation of a shard. But does he hope to restore the shard for the sake of the Cosmere, or.. to restore his memories.

My name does come from that character in Skyward! She's one of my favorites. I'm not on Shardcast, but I wish! That would be cool
