Question

Most forms of Invested healing in the Cosmere use the Spiritual aspect as a blueprint filtered through the Cognitive aspect to direct the Investiture in question so that it heals the Physical aspect.

But how can you heal the Spiritual aspect then, if the blueprint itself is damaged? Does the Cognitive aspect take complete control then, or what?

Firstly, can the Spiritual aspect be damaged? Isn't it only Investiture? Even if it can be changed, then wouldn't your being just accept that changed version as the new blueprint, and healing of the Physical would be directed accordingly? I think that if the Spiritual is the blueprint, then the other aspects might not be able recognize any "damage" done to it, unless your Perception in the Cognitive Realm of your Spiritual aspect has a good enough idea of what your Spiritual aspect is "meant" to be like, in which case the cognitive might assume control of any healing.

At least Hoid`s healing is can also heal spiritual wounds since he is not afraid from Jasnah`s Shardblase when she returns from Shadeshmar. Also radiants are able to heal from shardblades wounds, even a lot after they happend (Hobber? heald his legs).

I don`t have a good theory of why it is possible. My only idea is that maybe the damage is acctually some other investiture interfiering with the soul and the soul itself stays the same and then the healing remove this other investiture.

Thanks, I'd forgotten about Shardblade wounds. We know they supposedly damage the Spiritual, but I'm confused as to how the Spiritual aspect can really change, because of how the Spiritual realm is just unlimited Investiture without space or time. Then again, we know next to nothing about the Spiritual aspect or how things work in the Spiritual realm.

we also have a WoB that gold ferruchemy, or compounding at least, could probably heal spiritual wounds from a hemalurgic spike

Also, in multiple places it mentions shards talking about how its easier to connect to those with holes in their soul, and kelsier sorta did that with the insane man in the secret history.
