Adonlasium Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 I think that SP#4 is set on a far future Taldain that has an extra sun which is even more invested. This is supported by a few key details including that the plants grew incredibly quickly before sunlight hit them (the third sun), the dusk brightness ahead of the sun (the second sun, or brightside) and the permanent shadow (the first sun, or darkside). My theory is that the timeline went something like this Timeline shows. As shown in the chart, Autonomy would have invested in the third sun changing magic systems right before the particulate ring around the second sun was scattered by the third sun’s gravity. This made a ring around the whole planet so it looks something like this depicts. The drawing depicts how the original system is rotating around the third sun with the shadowed lands being the old Darkside, though the Darkside is shrunk substantially in this picture. The larger Dayside is also being blasted by the third and heavily invested sun in the picture.
