Hey Everyone!

Hi all! I only just discovered the Shardcast and this forum, but I'm super happy to be here! 

I fell in love with Brandon's writing after listening to the audiobook of The Way of Kings at work on a friend's recommendation! I've now read the first three books of Stormlight, the first Skyward novel, and I've bought a bunch of his other works I'm looking forward to starting (Elantris, Warbreaker, Mistborn Era 1, etc)! I heard from a friend that it was best to read the rest of the cosmere before continuing in Stormlight, so read it I shall! I of course, had to back the Kickstarter at the highest tier too, and I can't wait for 2023!

Thanks! I'd have to go with Dalinar as my favorite character after reading OB, and as for magic system, I really like the one in the Stormlight Archive, but I'll withhold judgement on that because I've been reliably informed that Mistborn has the best!

Dalinar has a good solid character arc. It's very well written! I love both the Stormlight and Mistborn magic systems, so I can't help you there

Thank you so much! This one is easy - Words of Radiance is the best book I've ever read bar none! Just phenomenal from start to finish (but especially the finish)!

Words of Radiance is one of my favorites as well! I think I like Oathbringer better, but I just have to appreciate the story line and sheer number of quotable lines from WoR.

Can't fault you for that opinion at all! Oathbringer is especially good with character work and arc payoff! The action in WoR is just so good! OB is definitely a close second for me!

Let's be real here: I couldn't afford it. I had to make quite a few cuts through the month and borrow a bit from a friend to make the full amount in spare cash, but some things are worth it! I also am in the US, so the shipping isn't as high as it unfortunately was for international fans!
