Reading Order

Can anyone tell me if Cytonic can be read without first reading the Sunreach and ReDawn?   I was going to listen to Cytonic on Audible, but may read the shorter stories later.   At this point I have held off listening to Cytonic,  since I have not read those two, but was looking for opinions on whether I could come back to those later ?

You can do that if you want. There'll be some gaps between what you know and what else has happened, but it's generally not critical knowledge.
