Using Feruchemy to Create Sentient Objects?

If you were to put a large Feruchemical charge inside, for example, a knife, and then you tapped Feruchemical Duralumin (not from the knife, from another Metalmind) while using that knife, would the resulting Connection between you and that invested object allow for it to gain sentience? After all, Radiant spren need a Connection to a sapient being in order to maintain their own sapience in the physical realm, so maybe an invested object would be able to grow sapience by becoming strongly Connected to a sapient being.

Don't invested objects only gain sentience after a long time and a lot of investiture (like Spren and seons). Otherwise the band's of mourning should have been all "hello there, would you like to survive today"

Yes, any investiture will gain at least some measure of sentience if left alone for long enough. But the Bands of Mourning don't have a particularly strong Connection made with anybody, so I don't think that they are a perfect example for this hypothetical situation.

I'm wondering more along the lines of if a strong Connection was made between a highly invested object and a sapient being, would that speed up the process of making that object sapient, or at least sentient, itself.
