i dont know if this topic goes here but I just joined discord but i dont know how anything works. pls explain

Hi! 

Discord is a messaging app, basically. There are servers that you can join, I see you're already in ours; and then in those servers there are 'channels' on given topics that you can speak in. In the Brandon Books category there are channels for most books, for example, and you can talk about those books in there without using spoiler tags, and there's the #cosmere channel where you can talk about any cosmere book. Most channels have descriptions which you can check to learn a little more, and you'll want to look at #welcome.
