KChan she/her
Hey there, RPers! I know it's been a very short time since our last update, but I'm back again with some exciting new features that are sure to make Mistborn: the Inquisition even better! First, you'll notice that in the mini-profile area (the place in each post with the member's avatar, post count, etc.) is missing some fields, and has gained some new ones. You can fill these new profile fields out in your User CP, under Profile Information. They are: Position: Not everyone will need this field. It's mostly for House Lords, Heirs, Crewleaders, etc. If your character has an important position that other characters should recognize, that's what this is for. If you're not sure, just leave it blank. Age: This one is pretty self-explanatory. Relationship Status: If your character is married, engaged, courting, in a relationship, etc., make sure to also enter with whom. Allomantic Status: There are six options for a character's Allomantic status: N/A – This is for if your character is not an Allomancer, or there are other extenuating circumstances involved (such as Rebellion members, who are known to each other but hidden as far as everyone else is concerned). Known – If your character is publicly known as an Allomancer, he or she is known. Open – If your character is not widely known as an Allomancer, but is not particularly concerned with hiding their Allomancy (if at all), he or she is open. Can also be used for characters who are known in another city or Dominance but have not become well-known in Luthadel yet. Rumored – If it is suspected your character is an Allomancer, but not known for sure, he or she is rumored. Hidden – This Allomancer's status is hidden from the general public. Select individuals (such as immediate family or a trusted friend) are an exception. For example, Lucille Deveaux knows Aaron Elariel is an Allomancer, but the general public of Luthadel doesn't, so he is still considered hidden. Unsnapped – This character has not Snapped yet. [*]Origin: Where is your character from? [*]Character Profile: Paste the URL to your character's application here, and it will create a link in your mini-profile. The one downside is that you can't edit these fields for each of your characters from your out-of-character account; you'll have to log into each character's individual account to edit them. But trust me, you – and your fellow roleplayers – will be glad you did! Second on our update list is a new feature: Random Generators! In order to help spark some more inspiration, and also have a little fun, I've made us some nifty toys: the Random Pairing Generator and the Character Generator! You can use these to get new character or RP ideas, write musical threads, or whatever you want. Enjoy!
Musicspren he/him
I find the random generators vastly entertaining, particularly the pairing one. I think (after many refreshes) that I managed to get the single best pairing:
Comatose he/him
Hahaha, I was wondering if this one would come up. You know, if it weren't for certain time and space issues (as well as some other things) I'm sure Kardin and Sanna could be very happy together (although, I think Sanna might get bored of Kardin... he's kind of shy, and Sanna isn't exactly the patient type). Great work on the upgrades Kerry!
KChan she/her
Thanks! I'm glad y'all are enjoying them. Unfortunately, since I'm not that great with javascript at all, I don't even know if there's a way to make it filter out certain combinations. So if you get relative pairings, just click past them.
