More Diagram epigraphs to decode?

This is one of my first real posts, so my apologies in advance if I break some sort of decorum.
 
I have a question regarding the following chapter epigraphs:

 

Words of Radiance, Chapter 78

Ah​but​they​were​left​behind​It​is​obvious​from​then​ature​of​the​bond

​But​where​where​where​where​Setoff​Obvious​Realization​like​a​pricity

​They​are​with​the​Shin​We​must​find​one​Can​we​make​to​use​a​Truthless​

Can​we​craft​a​weapon
- From the Diagram, Floorboard 17: Paragraph 2, 

every second letter starting with the first

 

Words of Radiance, Chapter 89

There​has​to​be​an​answer​What​is​the​answer​Stop​The​Parshendi​

One​of​them​Yes​they​are​the​missing​piece​Push​for​the​Alethi​to​destroy

​them​outright​before​this​one​obtains​their​power​It​will​form​abridge

every second letter starting with the second

 

What struck me when reading the book were the lines - "every second letter starting with the first" and "every second letter starting with the second". I immediately assumed there was something further to decode than what was written. However, when searching the forums for mention of these epigraphs, I am coming up empty. Am I reading too much into it? Is the epigraph, as written, the already descrambled message? Or is there a deeper, hidden message to find using the "every second letter..." key?

 

I tried more obvious methods of descrambling, only to produce gibberish, but decoding is not really my thing.

What do you guys think?

There's nothing to decipher here. In the original Diagram these two texts were interleaved. They've alreadybeen separated out so we can read them.

 

If you're wondering if Brandon will put more codes or otherwise hidden things in future books, the likelihood of that is very high.

Thanks for the clarification! One of my close friends had written a little C+ program to parse out the text for him, and was trying different combinations to decipher it. I'm glad we know for sure before delving deeper.
