Uhmmmm, Hammers?

So….. Medieval plate armor kinda sucks. Like, a lot. Yeah, it could definitely block a stab or a cut, getting through metal with those is hard. Like, chain mail is literally deigned to deflect those. But like, y’all, what about the transferring of force. If I hit an unsecured object, it will move until it hits something else, where the energy will then be transferred into that object.
