Yeah, he might be breaking the first ideal but it's kind of abstract. You could get different meanings from it, depending on how much of the ideal is your own view or that of the sprens although your probably right. I would love to know how close you have to be to the ideals to attract a spren or break an already existing bond.

I was thinking that Taravangians goals seem in a way to fit with the bondsmiths ordeal. He is trying to unite all humanity.If bondsmiths do indeed each bond a "Godspren" then Taravangians might be the one bonded to the Odium spren, which would help account for his more twisted means of achieving unity. He is trying to save Roshar using sometimes evil means. This seems to be something a knight radiant bonded to an evil or destructive spren might do. Not to sure about this just thought that I would get some opinions about it.

Interesting theory would really like it if someone could ask Brandon If squires are just knight what haven't said all their oths yet because that's what I always assumed.

Okay thanks didn't noticed that it was refered to has "he" So there will nolonger be a 2nd herald as a flashback character? I hadn't heard that. So Taln, Lift, Renarin, and Jasnah are confirmed leaving Dustbringers. It does seem most likely that Rysn, Mr T, or Adolin will be the Dustbringer although 5 Kholin flashbacks will probobly be to many (seems like they would start to overlap) so Rysn or Mr T seems a better choice. Out of those 2 Rysn seems to be a better fit for the Dustbringers, brave and obidiant and would make it 5 men and 5 women, which seems more likely than 6 men, 4 women. Travangian on the other hand would have very interesting flashbacks and would probobly be more interesting. We will probobly just have to wait for more information about Dustbringers. I believe Brandon has said that their will be a flashback from each order of nights radiant so from this we can extrapolate. 1st set Kaladin - Windrunner 1 Shalan - Lightweaber 2 Szeth - Skybreaker 3 Eshoni - Willshapers 4 (unconfirmed but speculated willshaper) Dalanar - Bondsmith 5 2nd set (not in this order) Taln - Stonewards 6 Lift - Edgedancers 7 Jasnah - Elsecallers 8 Renarin - Truthwatchers 9 Chanarach - Dustbringers 10 (unconfirmed but known to be a 2nd herald) Although it is unconfirmed it has been speculated and i agree that Eshoni will be a willshaper leaving only the order of Dustbringers left for the 2nd herald making her Chanarach.This seems even more likely when you consider that we now have 5 male characters and 5 female characters just like the original heralds and how well Willshaper fits Eshoni who was called the Explorer on the back of the book. Could someone link me to the quote where Brandon said there would be a book for each order I couldn't find it.

Okay, now this is getting out of hand. I don't even know what Pahn Kahl is, which is probably quite embarasing since I'm a Cosmere fanatic. Now I either need to go find out what I am or give up reading these books and take up a mundane hobby like knitting instead. :(

Nice chart. I'm slightly confused the Heralds positions seem to be close to their respective orders but Shalan( a Lightweaver) is referred to in WoR as one of Ishar's knights while in the chart a Lightweaver would be one of Shalash's knights? Could someone clear this up for me?

Well I'm an Inquisitor so, no eyes here, but for most people your probably right. I suppose your right most Spearmen are Darkeyes, except for Renarin and Kal kind of likes him.Anyways I'm now an official Bridgeman so me and Kal are Friends. I guess I'll still have to watch out for Kelsier he always has been judgmental with Inquisitors...

I believe that in WoR it is said that Braize was an old word for Damnation although I can't find the quote. (correct me if I'm wrong) Because of this I believe that the Heralds are transported to Braize upon death where Odium is probably the one torturing them. This seems like it must be a requirement/result of the Othepact since not going back caused the Othepact to be broken. My theory for the Tranquiline Halls/Damantion story is that it is just humanity and Honor/cultivation leaving their previous shardworld and Odium following them distorted over thousands of years. It is also possible that Odium drove humanity and Honor/Cultivation from their previous shardworld which seems like it fits well with the story.

I don't think Jasnah knows enough to have written it she doesn't seem to know anything about shards or the other shardworlds and Hoid probably knew that was the right place because of his foresight.

Shallan really only seems physically attracted to Adolin and doesn't seem to really emotionally click with him. Her real reason for starting a relationship with him was to save her brothers, who should be on their way safe and sound. Without the added protection Adolin offered, I think Shallan will eventually loose interest in him because his just isn't the kind of person she can relate to. Kaladin/Shallan are so similar and have many thing in common that a relationship just seem so likely. I hate love tringles but I don't think this will turn into one I think Shallan will break it off with Adolin or Adolin will die(he is the most expendable person at the moment) and Shallan/Kalladin will start. I do remember something about kalladin having a romantic relationship with someone while he was a slave but a don't remember the details could someone add to this.

Probobly just somthing with Windrunner oaths but it might have somthing to do with the fact that honorspren don't seem to be returning and syl broke the "rules" to bond with Kaladin. Maybe he is more powerful beouse of this.

We must be missing some piece of information because from what we've seen the honorblades aren't as strong as sprenblades and the heralds should obviously be more powerful than regular radiants (I mean they come back from the dead, live for thousands of years, and are worshiped as divinities by some cultures). Whether the honorblades just don't work as well for people who aren't Heralds or their power has decreased since the end of the othpact something is definitely doing on.

Although it would be awsome to see if someone did it right, I agree with Sir Read-alot that it would probobly be to hard and the end product wouldn't feel like SA.

Top Ten most interesting/coolest/favorite. 1. Wit (I mean he's just awsome and should top everyones list). 2. Shallan (Really shined in WoR and now feels like one of the most developed carracter.). 3. Lopen (Even if you dont know it yet your secretly dieing to see more of hime!). 4. Lift (Can't wait to see more of her). 5. Eshonai (Don't know what to expect from her). 6. Taravangian (I wan't to call him an "Evil Genius" but he could very well save everyone). 7. Szeth (His emotional trouble really feels real to me...can't wait to see his book). 8. Renarin (He is going to be such an interesting/well developed carracter once we start seeing his PoV and will probobly take 2.). 9. Kaladin (Unfortunally, most of WoR felt like an emotional digression for him eventhough I still love hime and he did have his moments. He will move up once he fully gets past his emotional trouble). 10. Jasnah (Can't wait to see what she gets up to).

Doesn't seem plausible that ryshadium are part of a radiants bond since both Dalanar and Adolin have one without being radiants and nothing was ever said about them in relation to the radiants. @Galavantes Your idea is interesting.
