Given that
Spoilerthe Dawnsingers are the ancient Parshmen/singers/etc. I propose deleting them from the list of potential Spren, as Kasbal was clearly wrong
Not sure if this is the place for this. But there wasn't a discussion page

So, I was just in the middle of my second read-through when something jumped out at me. I remember it striking me as odd the first time, but still, weird.
When Wax and Marasi are approaching the mansion for the party in New Seran, they're stopped by Hoid, who gives Wax thecoin/coppermind
. When Wax tells the "beggar" that it's private property, he says something very interesting:
“The beggar laughed. “I own the place, technically. Now, regarding those coins for old Hoid, my good lord…”
(emphasis mine)
Is there something that I'm not remembering? Is Hoid just being a weirdo? I have no idea.

I would like to revive this thread to sate one of my questions about the reason that he is able to use allomancy in Roshar. I was under the impression that one type of magic could only be used within the purview of the pertaining shard. Or is it because the investiture is a kind of magical particle that enables such exploits if it is present in any planet?
IIRC, Brandon once commented that someone from Sel (Galladon, for example) would be able to use AonDor on a planet like, say, Roshar, if the proper steps were taken. I don't remember where I read that, though.

I'm convinced that she is Ico's daughter. She mentions to Eshonai in Part V that her (Timbre's) grandfather was killed by a broken bond. Ico's father is in the hold. It fits.
