    As Coil charged towards the edge of the vision, she found something strange. A mistspren- Seeker, she thought. "Do you want to join us?" she called to the spren. "We're exploring!" @Fizz9 @CoderDrag0n8

    Coil beamed. Deciding to check out the room, she made a snap decision. Waving a vine at Bud, she called, "Come explore with me." After a moment's pause, she said, "Please? I'm being more confident!" Ryil grabbed Vain's hand. "A pleasure," he repeated calmly, then flittered up to Star in the form of a ribbon, landing gently on her shoulder. "Ry!" she gasped. "What are you doing? I thought you were socializing!" "I can do both. Both be with you and socialize, I mean." Sighing, Star nodded to him and asked, "Where's Coil?" Ryil shrugged, and she peered around the room for a moment before dismissing the nagging worry that had crept in. @Fizz9

    I have decided that when my blog reaches certain big numbers of views (such as 1000, etc... (because I haven't decided the other numbers yet lol)) I will post something special on the blog. No, I don't know what yet. Yes, I know I didn't do anything special for 100 views. (But you did get three poems out of me that no one irl has seen, so you can count that). If you want to see my blog, check my signature- I have it linked. Hmmm.... I guess that's all I'm gonna say for now.

    Ryil's figure fuzzed- his kind of version of blushing. When he reformed completely he peered at Vain, pushing his tiny glasses higher up on his nose in a sort of anxious tic. "You, uh, you saw that? It's just.. well... the Nahel Bond makes us close. Neither spren nor human is complete without the other, you know. When I'm not close, it feels like a part of me is missing." Ry scowled, tugging on the sleeve of his suit. "Storms, that made it sound super romantic, didn't it?" Coil smiled back, feeling lighter than she had in a while. "I... will try this. Thank you. Is it okay if I call us friends?" she asked shyly. @Fizz9

    Coil nodded. "I guess I'm just not quite as strong as you..' she trailed off, looking sad. "I just don't want to mess this up. Star's my first Radiant, you know." Ryil grinned. "For me," he said. "It is the opposite. I can sit still while I am with Star- she needs me often, after all. it is when I am without her that I grow a bit... anxious." @Fizz9

    Star blinks, taking Ink's hand. "That sounds... Interesting." She then nods to Ryn politely. "Nice to meet you," she says. "And yes, of COURSE I WANT A KITTEN." She peers at the tiny cats, then nods. "YES PLEASE," A man, munching on what Star hoped was a really thick pretzel welcomed her to the Shard, which she guessed was the name of the bar. "Thank you," she said. Then, turning to Ink, she asked, "Is that the bartender?"

    Star nods, standing and gesturing to both of her spren. They do nothing that she can see, but apparently fall invisible to other eyes. "I am Star," she says, introducing herself. "I came here somewhat by accident, though perhaps it was not really an accident." Star shoots a sideways glance at Ryil, who grins sheepishly. "Never mind that. Who are you? And how did you come to this strange place?"

    Star walks into the bar, looking confused. Ryil and Coil, her spren, are by her side- Ryil on her shoulder and Coil by her feet. "Um... Hello?" She says slightly anxiously. "I guess I'm here now." Ryil pats her head consoling, and Coil bobs her vine-head up and down. Waiting for a response from any of the bar-attenders, Star takes a seat.

    "I will," Star said, nodding. Coil flinched, her vines trembling. "I..." Then she let Bud wrap a vine around her, and she felt a slight bit better. "Thank you," she whispered. "I don't really like being around new people..." "Yes!" Ry cheered. "It is symbiosis!" He turned into a little ribbon and flitted around the room a few times. "Sorry," he apologized when he was done. "I just get a little fidgety when I'm standing still." @Fizz9

    *hugs back* Thank you! So, one thing to realize is that I wrote this when I was like super depressed; I hadn't had the greatest day and everything was just kind of washing over me and all I could think about was my failures and it wasn't good. I've realized more and more over the years that writing/reading is a good release for me, so when the words kept circling in my head, I decided to write it down. All of these feelings are real, if a little overstated at times. Tbh, I am kind of the odd one out. People think I'm strange, and I'm trying to accept that, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. Some days are worse than others, and that's kind of what bring stuff like this and The Weight of the World (my other poem) out. Talking to people helps. Having people understand helps. And people like you guys on the Shard definitely help. To be honest, all the other Sharders I've met have felt more like friends than anyone irl has felt like in a few years. ..holy cow that got depressing. I just mean to say, Thank you.

    "Hmmm..." Star looked thoughtful. "I'm not too sure. I'm only on my second ideal of each WIndrunner and Edgedancer, though they each do feel a little service oriented. I'm not sure. Maybe as I progress farther in my ideals I'll know for sure." She shrugged. "Maybe I'll even create my own order. I may even get another spren. Who knows? For now, though, I think it is okay to call me a Windrunner/Edgedancer hybrid." Coil tilted her head. "I.. am Coil," she said softly, curling up into a pile of vines. "You are Bud, yes?" She was anxious, and formed a single small vine that coiled towards Ryil, desperate for some kind of support. "Hello!" Ry said brightly. "Yes, as I said, I am Ryil, better known as Ry, Honorspren of Star." He offered his hand, seeming slightly awkward talking to the two spren. "So," he continued. "What do you find to be the spren's most important role in the Nahel Bond?" He preferred to get straight to the heart of such matters, enjoying fresh perspectives.

    "Huh. I hadn't really thought about it before. I think I'm just a Windrunner/Edgedancer hybrid, though I'm not too sure. What makes a Wingdancer different?" Ry hopped off of Star's shoulder and strode over to Bud. Pushing his glasses up higher on his nose, he said," I'm Ryil. Honorspren of Star over there." He gestured towards where Star stood chatting with Fizz. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Coil followed Ryil. "Hello," she said softly, pressing close to Ryil's side. She hated being around people she didn't know- it made her uncomfortable. @Fizz9
