Through the Living Wrath

“If you send me to jail while I was innocent, it would be wrong, right?” He takes the crayon and draws bars and a prisoner. ”But then, maybe I’m not there because I’m guilty?” He adds a broken lock to the bars. ”Maybe I’m only there because I am visiting? Perhaps I know a particularly violent Pyro?” He adds a second person. ”If I kill that Pyro, then, well, I’m in prison already, aren’t I? I was just defending myself, wasn’t I? Maybe I need some time in the prison to set myself straight.” He redraws the lock, and crosses out the second person.

As they walked, they noticed translucent crystal chains suspended in the air, becoming more and more opaque as they converged on a central point.

The floor seemed to incline in a direction.

While the two were hugging each other, they noticed that the exit had disappeared, white mist surrounding them.

The glow surrounds him again, and he quickly stands, sending his hand in a cupped palm, a burst of wind from the palm pushing her back slightly. “Heretic, your reckoning shall come with the end of your king.” Herald returned, the glow fading as he stumbled. “Do you see why I cannot abandon the Flame?”

“I am afraid I cannot abandon it.”

Rage was still crouching over Balance (Ison), and didn’t notice her. As the two of them found their way through, the tunnel started to widen, until a whit fog obscured a ceiling many many feet above them.

“What are we to do in the meantime?”

He laughed, though he didn’t entirely get it.

“What is wrong, child?”

“And that is better?”

He caught the hand, then brought a fist around, then opened it, releasing a tiny burst of flame. His glow dissipated, and he looks very confused.

Scol is still walking creepily through the halls. For security reasons.

“And there is a captive? With every moment we wait, the captive could be more and more dead.”

“Coincidentally, I did none of those things.” He laughed. ”I…” His skin started to glow an orange light. “The King, the Tyrant, the Emperor of Pain. His Reign shall end before the end of the next cycle of the moon. The Age of Flame shall transpire. And the world will return to the balance promised by nature.”

“Well, does it need be?”

“A bit of patience means an hour of waiting.”

“How do you think I got here?”

Kaos’ mother cocks her head in the corner of his vision, laughs (audibly) and nods. Challenge accepted.

“And you wouldn’t be the one breaking them.”

Sirius gave the Duke a critical eye before snorting. “And what would you have us do at the moment, my Lord?”

“I am also a Gale. I could extinguish his fire before he could act. I am not defenseless.”

“Little one, I am a Pyro.”

The Judge didn’t seem to notice her, but translucent purple lines stretched between them as she did this. He didn’t notice them either. The water transitioned from water to a purple crystal, then formed a crystal tunnel she could crawl through. @Through The Living Glass Aela should probably come.

Sirius looked around, somehow seeming even more errorgant. “Where is this town lord? I would speak to them.”
