  1. He nodded to. “She offered me… power. I took it.”
  2. Akash. You are not blameless. You are not innocent. But you have paid a price. A price more than you can bear. I will not ask if you wish to turn back. Rather, I would offer assistance. I would that you find your way through your malady. Indeed. A green flash filled his vision, and as it cleared, he felt the weather, pulsing to his heartbeat. @Ookla the Rubber Duck Gerith turned to her. “Did she speak to you as well?”
  3. guys I hate the Florida education system

So we’re talking about Sesame Street, and this section is about “Context”, and specifically it’s going into historical context of how Sesame Street tried to include more cultures and diversity in its program.

    That’s fine

    BUT THE NEXT QUESTION

    in the context of diversity

asks how subtitles help with understanding.

    WHAT IS THAT QUESTION

anyways I said that it’s been proven that reading along to audio improves knowledge acquisition

    THEN NEXT

in the cause and effect section

How did the collaboration between the creators lead to the creation of Sesame Street?

WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY? THEY COLLABORATED, AND MADE SESAME STREET.

    THATS THE ANSWER.

    the collaboration isn’t a cause… it’s a method.

    ggggrrrrr

paraphrased "how did being diverse allow the program to connect to a diverse audience?"

  4. He nodded. “Indeed. I am afraid that the Nobles and the Masks are growing in power… recklessly. I will soon free us from this manor, and I wish you to be on my side when we get out. Neither Noble nor Mask, but rather…” He frowned. “I should think of a name for our little group. But we will combat the destructive influences pulling the strings of both organizations.”
  5. “A guard, for the Masks. This town is under our control now. If you are with the Nobles, I’d suggest you change that. Quickly.” ”You wish to speak with me?”
  6. As you wish. I can grant you a power, to help you along your way. One of Dominance, twisting fate to your will; one of Self-Mastery, expanding your vision to all who may see; and one of Instinct, moving alongside the weather. @Mystic Syn Celix. You wish for a time past, one far gone. I do not begrudge you of this; I often find myself wishing similarly. But the path is dangerous. The Blight does not part easily. Are you certain you wish to continue?
  7. Simula. You see the hidden qualities of the world. You wish to reveal them? I must warn you that the path ahead is perilous, and there is no guarantee of your success. You may turn back, if you so wish. @Ookla the Rubber Duck So be it. A flash of green envelopes her vision, and when it cleared, she felt the shadows cloak her, if only slightly.
  8. He looked around. “What happened here?”
  9. I can offer you… three power. A Dominance, to avert the blame of others. Self-Mastery, to avoid the malice of others. And Instinct, to spread the pain of this blame.
  10. “A voice. The Wind called her… one who sacrificed much, witness much pain. She tells me her name is Aela.”
  11. @Ookla the Rubber Duck Rella. You have been wronged. The whims of nature have been pinned to be your own, and the ailment of your companion has caused you much pain. I offer you my condolences. The path ahead is difficult. I have power to offer you, if you wish it.
  12. He shook his head. “I have no memory of this.. but… she is telling me of it’s truth.”
  13. Ann nodded. “Bard, you gotta tell him! And he’s going to save us!” The Wind turned to him. “Hello, Alym.”
  14. As you wish. He felt a surge of power within him, and his sight flashed green for a moment. As it cleared, he found that he was able to feel the life energy of his surroundings.
  15. Then I would grant you Power. Choose. Dominance over souls, Mastery over your own. Or, you may have the power of Instinct, feeling the flow of souls.
  16. He slumped, looking back. “It’s safe. Just… don’t touch the Blight.” Indeed, the Blight spread through the land, twisting trees to unnatural shapes. A green ooze spread across the land. Semwyn. You have taken the first step. Unbranded, unblemished, you blaze this path. The route ahead is dangerous. The Blight is performing its purpose… a dark one. Are you certain this is what you wish?
  17. Your character is not branded.
  18. Speak to the Wind, the one pretending to be Death. He has a plan for you. The man was still speaking with the noble that had let them in to the manor. @Ookla the Rubber Duck Nikolas frowned. “You’re saying she is my biological sister?”
  19. Gerith nodded, stepping through the Gate and into the Blight. Where he heard her voice so much louder. The others could see him reacting, but could not hear her.
  20. Gerith looked around, frowning. “Do we just… go, now?” He coughed, but turned to the rest of the heretics. The Serpent King’s Emissary had already turned away, leaving them.
  21. The physical brand is on their right wrist.
  22. You guys the Path rp is gonna be some work

    oh my

anyways if anyone is interested in how it will continue

y’all’ll get a choice of three types of power

    Dominance

    Self-Mastery

    Instinct

And these will be based on what you were promised (who your character is)

For example, Gerith is getting the choices as relating to his chronic illness, a variance of the plague that struck him.

Dominance: Shhh… this one’s a secret. It’s what he chooses.

Self Mastery: Draw strength from the sickness in some way.

Instinct: Infect others in some fashion

  23. Ann turned, nodded. “I knew it! That’s him, isn’t it?” Nikolas frowned. “Who are you?” She stepped next to him. “I’m your sister, and you were sent here to save us all! We can’t get out, we’re running out of coal, and the manor is collapsing.”
  24. As they neared the Gate, Gerith knew. He knew that he couldn’t run. He just couldn’t. There were six other “heretics” with him, being led by the Serpent King’s emissary—who wore an imposing, pearly white cloak over heavy armor. When they arrived at the gate, the emissary turned back, regarding the group. “You have been branded… heretics. To escape this brand, you must either die… or you must complete the Holy Pilgrimage. You must find the path that you forsook.” He raised a hand, and the heavy doors of the Gate began to open. “You must travel to Dragon’s rest, straight north from the Gate, through the Blighted Lands.” He turned. “You may run. Many, in fact, choose this. We will not stop you. But you will still have the brand, and you will no longer have your life.” Gerith shivered, looking down. He didn’t have a life anyways. Not since the plague had hit his town. ”Your pilgrimage begins… now.”
  25. …and that’s all the reaction you have? @Ookla the Rubber Duck Nikolas looked to the bard, frowning. “Where am I?” The path was short - as if the cart was already mostly there. At the entrance to the settlement, a short, masked figure stepped out towards her. ”Who do you run with? You one the Noble crowd?”
