  1. len(list) works but you need to be readable you can't let the spagetti monster consume you!
  2. "It let me control the bars of that cage with my mind. Even if it's not magic... it's somehting else."
  3. ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew why no you just made a dictionary minus all the good things about a dictionary i mean like list = [a, b, c, d, ..., z] lenoflist = 26
  4. range(len(listvar)) isnt very readable. Better practice to have a value define that equals the length of the list that's the java gremlin that comes out every so often not the c gremlin, bc c is terrible and inevitably returns to spagetti no matter what yeah i (index) is usually the looping variable
  5. Okay All else you need (and prolly more important if you want it to make more advanced systems) are lists and for statements explanation if you need it: Fun fact if you learn to use things like the bitwise XOR (^) correctly and lists correctly, you can write most things without writing ifs. not that you should, though
  6. "Then let's go." Cor casts his eyes around at the others, and his hand twitched impatiently.
  7. lol It's not too complicated (as long as you aren't getting into the saving mechanics and inventory parsing), but you would need to get familiar with input and print statements. So like Learn how to type input() and print("hey") @CoderDrag0n8 Game engines are harder to share! (over a forum) [imo]
  8. This would all be decided in planning, yk? It would prolly be easiest to use an OOL, but i rly like python. Pixel art is possible, there are a few ways to print images to the terminal.
  9. Guys I had a wonderful idea. WE MAKE A GAME code It would be a command line dungeon crawler And we would design Save, Map, Combat, etc. We would either divvy up the different things or take coding shifts Sign up here (This is so that a coding project can be better time optimized) Consider that you'll need to handle file read/write/parse
  10. “Great. So we need to overthrow a sovereign power to get what we want safely. Cool. What exactly can I do with this cube?”
  11. Cor frowned. “We need to move.” He turns to @IcedOutPenguin. “Where would you say the stronghold is?”
  12. @Spark of Hope @IcedOutPenguin @KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren The figure raised an arm… and then another… and then another… and then another… and then another. A glowing light emanated from each arm, and Finn knew his life was to end. And then it didn’t. Light flashed, and a crater was left where the cyborg once was. Another figure, cleanly and smiling, descended. “I apologize.” Its voice was strained. “You are to be audited, not executed.” Each of you lost vision. … When you awoke, you were alone, in a cell. A voice sounded. “Wait please. Your trial will begin shortly.”
  13. He grunted. “A name. Who’s Neigan?” Patch looked around. “I agree.”
  14. He nodded, then turned to the newly freed prisoner. “What do you know about the knight?”
  15. “Yeah… though I don’t know where ‘here’ is.”
  16. Cor hadn’t slept. He hadn’t slept in a long time.
  17. “No… it is… a part of me. Without, I die.” He looked down. “He’s a really good fighter. I’m not sure how, but I know he is.” Cor was ready for the time skip!
  18. “You misunderstand me.” He hesitated, and nodded. “As you wish.” The shadow retreated, and Cor returned, wide-eyed. “You’re alive!”
  19. “Cor is a victim of the Ceramist. The Ceramist is for death at my hands. My imminent goal is to find worthy souls for my final Vessels.”
  20. "I am a puppet of the Ceramist, the architect of destruction. This thing, of which you speak, involves much death. Much more than I can incur on my own."
  21. "I am called End. I have taken interest in your actions, to kill the tyrant."
  22. "You can trust that it hasn't yet attacked you." He places a finger on the plate at his neck, and darkness runs along Cor's hand from the crude clay. It was absorbed into his skin, and he seemed to carry himself different. End blinked as he regarded Wit. "Greetings, usurper."
  23. Patch nods, then looks to the other group. “You?”
