"Rookie numbers," Draxion says with a small smile. "I think this is going to end in a disaster." Draxion observes. "I hope it doesn't, but I think it will."

"Titan already blamed us for it." Draxion says, "How much hate mail or threats did you get in your email today?"

"Sucks that we have to run from everyone because of the word of a single person," Draxion says. "But Details of everything from this point on will largely be hidden from the general populous."

"At least someone listened to us. Right?"

"You saw the email from EMOS, correct?"

Draxion did a quick lifeform scan, and two people were awake. Kane was [insert location], and Joan was in her office. He shot off a quick email asking her to come to the bridge.

"Yeah well," Fyre says

Titan (and Earth are both gone) Draxion checked his email (still no replacement for email in 1200 years (funny how that works)) he autosorted through all the hate mail. And found a single message that was important:

"I doubt it."

"Those jerks again?" Fyre grumbles. "Why does everything have to involve the gods?"

"Yeah, what do you think happened?"

"How did you sleep?" Fyre asks Newna as she walks up.

"Okay..." Fyre trails off. "Not even gonna ask."

"What are those anyway?"

"You can suggest anything you want." Fyre notes, "But if you want me to, I'll wait."

Fyre grabs his stuff and gets off the ship.

Fyre runs into the bridge, "where's the captain?" He asks

Draxion sends a mental command to the computer to run general diagnostics. Before he walks to the bridge.

Draxion watched from the orbital station as Titan began its final deceleration by the end of the hour, the terraforming drones would begin lasering Titan, and it would be habitable in a decade or two. His calculations had been spot on and Titan was heading right to the expected orbital trajectory, directly across from Earth going on the same orbit at the same speed. He ran another check with the main computer, and everything was going perfe- hang on... Why did Titan suddenly gain some extra spin? That wasn't correct. He rechecked the calculations, and the moon wasn't slowing down anymore. It was speeding up! Draxion overlaid the orbital control systems panel in his vision. Bosters 1-12 were accelerating instead of decelerating. He tried to quickly gain access to reset their trajectory, he could fix this; he had been able to fix everything before- He was being firewalled? Why/ he had all the authorization codes. He quickly checked the other boosters to see if he had access, and he did. Over the next hour, he could do nothing but watch as 30 years of his life killed 300 billion people. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Two days later. Draxion awoke on the ship, it had been frantic getting on. He still didn't remember all of what happened. Senetor Unraili had tried to get him arrested for "Sabotaging" the mission. He didn't do it, but it couldn't be Unraili. He'd been avid about the project ever since it was announced to the public 51 years ago. Charactor reference sheet.
