To be fair, it's probably not the right place to put it - by which I mean, I should find a place dedicated to LotR fans and ask people there. The thing is, this is just an idea right now - and it needs many, many people to come even close to being a reality, including a couple to actually take care of organising the material we want to publish, to find a good place to produce this edition, to figure out and produce other rewards...

I think my problem is that I actually try to think about it practically. And it's nice to know I'll have at least some passive supporters. But for this to become a reality, it's going to take more than that. I am a tad hesitant to ask for you to help, which is why I was very careful not to write "we" in my proposal - I need to know someone is interested enough to help before implying they're a part of it. Also, if you know Tolkien fans that you think might be interested - it'll be great if you can spread the word. About this completely theoretical and probably impractical idea.

I read Rithmatist when I was like 10, and really wanted a new one, but then got pulled into less fantasy books. I read the weird super-hero ish ones a while ago, don't remember what they're called, wasn't a fan. However, I began to want to read more fantasy after reading some Pratchett. It is rather hard to find non-explicit fantasy books, and my mom recommended Brandon. I read Stormlight Archive 1-3. Waiting for ROW to get back to the library. I listened to Elantris on audiobook. I'm 1/3 of the way through Mistborn 1. I'll use slang from the Cosmere around the house, and when I called my non-cosmere aware sister "sule" I decided I needed to find a fan site.

Agreed. Hoid in general. Is there a Hoid forum that you know of? I've been on here for all of 45 minutes, and maybe found one that died a few year ago. I would think there'd be one more active. 

Why is it dead here? Have we given up the noble aim of bringing Hoidianism to every nook and cranny of the internet? Is the task too daunting? Good people, we have only one planet to cover. We CAN do it, and We will do it. Forget not the ambition that drove you to say weird, confusing things to people, forget not the chaotic nature in each of us.
