He went to the bed, much more comfortable than the cot he’d slept on for two weeks.

He finished the meal quietly and didn’t disturb her as he went to the guest room.

He nodded, simultaneously scarfing down and savoring the meal. It had been so long since he’d had a home cooked meal.
