Describe the moment when a heart breaks? I'll try...
If you watch closely, you may notice that sometimes your heart is fragile. You poke it, you prod it, then leave it be, not wanting to end something bad. Then you find someone. They go beyond just poking and prodding. It doesn't matter where, because they find a place and worm into your heart. They shower your thoughts with love and affection, and you are blinded to the intent that they have. You care for them as you would your own family, and love them just as much. Years pass, and suddenly your someone finds something newer, something more refined than you. They begin to pull out, inch by inch. Each inch shatters a part of your heart, the shards sticking to your mind, sticking to your heart as they continue to leave you. When the person you thought was yours leaves, that is when the heart breaks. A slow crack down the middle, held together only by shock. That soon fades, the fragments falling to the ground and breaking into pieces, some visible, others not. Inside your heart is a single tear. The payment you gave to your someone. They gave it back. You pick up the pieces. You stride out the door. You are still you... but something is lost, something more...
this was just depressing
