    "I'm just confused is all." Erin considered for a moment. "I have an idea, here." They held out their hand as though for him to take.

    "No, it's fine. I'm just trying to figure out something... concrete, I guess?" They grimaced. "Sorry, this is probably really awkward for you. I'm awful and this stuff."

    "Can you give it a shot? What kind of feeling do you have that made you want to... you know."

    Erin continued to watch him. "What is it that you feel?"

    "...I still think you're handsome. I just don't know what I'd notice if I had those kinds of feelings for someone. And It doesn't make much sense that someone would have them for me."
