      Oh man! I didn't see your response! 

      I've been pretty up and down, right now its mostly up so yay. I got covid though, so I'm isolated from my family upstairs and my brain is running solely on green Zooper Dooper juice, panodol and no sleep :P .

    It gave no coherent response. It had been well destroyed.

    It reminded her of the time Tayen had before nearly slipped into becoming a shade. It was still consumed with the pain that had originally dissolved the former soul.

    His convulsions slowed, and he began to cry. "I'm sorry... I couldn't..."

    It seemed like instead of the shade merging with his soul, his soul was getting eating away by the shade, and joining it. Hurts...

    He seemed to be dissolving into the shade, joining it.

    He began to scream, convulsing. The shade swirled faster, and seemed to eat at his form.

    "I think... I think it's him. But it hurts. I... I don't know if I can do this."

    Tayen cried out in pain, contorting in her arms.

    "Thank you." The shade seemed to shift faster.

    He reddened a bit. "I... think I love you. Maybe I always did, and I just needed to remember."

    He nodded, and continued to hold her. It was nice. She seemed to fit perfectly in his arms somehow.

    "Right." He looked at her for a while, and around at the strange light. "What should we do?"

    "Then I think it's a very good thing. It'll just be like I'm... getting restored. And you'll have him back."

    His strange shade-like aura seemed to shift and swirl.
