Would explain some things. Although if Hoid knows something why would he go out of his way to avoid the 17th shard?

My guess is that the seventeenth shard is being distributed among multiple people so it can be contained. If it even is a shard and not just the name of the organisation. Huh now that I've written this out I realise my own understanding of the 17th shard is almost no existent. I think Hoid isn't part of the 17th Shard I think he is the 17th Shard. Although I don't have any evidence towards it and really just a guess.

Haven't read Elantris yet and yes I know about the Cosmere and some other spoiler stuff. Don't wanna step on anyone's toes on the first day. Also I get the emoticon, nice.

I've read: The Final Empire, The Well of Ascension, The Hero of Ages, The Alloy of Law, Steelheart, Firefight, The Way of Kings part 1 and 2, Words of Radiance and Warbreaker. Basically when I finished one I went out and bought another. Put quite a hole in my wallet but worth it. ^__^

Hi there Name's Avalon Blue. I've been a fan of Sanderson and his work from about a year ago decided to read SteelHeart and the very next day, after finishing it, bought the first of the Mistborn series. I spent a couple of nights reading, until about 3:00 in the morning reading Words of Radiance, don't regret it though because I was blown away. If i aspire to be anything then being an author would be amazing, not sure I am to good at it though. Anyway long story short thought I'd sign up here and chat with you folks. Yo!
