I love this forum so much! I just finished reading Mistborn series and had a very similar question!

Ya so far it's just bin bits from Sanderson and such but the books talk very little about adonalsium.
Which is sooo frustrating haha! We need MORE!! I can't wait until we start to get more and more information about the Shards, Adonalsium, etc. etc.

Keep us updated! I hadn't even thought of trying to do this myself and I'd love to try out my own name... but lack the knowledge on how to do so in a correct way.

This sounds like it would work. It might be difficult, because Pulling on something doesn't cancel gravity. For instance, when a Lurcher pulls themself towards something on a roof, they curve upward as they go.
These are also my thoughts exactly. It wouldn't be as smooth as say, a Windrunner lashing themselves to a wall. I find myself imagining a Lurcher just crashing headfirst into the wall. Fun ideas to ponder though

It's confirmed that it's the latter:

I always thought that was the most logical choice, especially since Hoid likes the Shard. But it isn't one we know:
Thank you! I've never seen this before

I am on book 8 (Please no spoilers for future books) and so far it has been... boring. Basically everyone is politically talking and marching and so far nothing really has happened. So I was wondering, what is everyone's least favorite and most favorite books?
I'll go first: (Again subject to change as I'm only on book 8)
Favorite: Lord of Chaos (6)
Least Favorite: The Path of Daggers (8)
I actually have the same thoughts. I love Lord of Chaos and can't stand Path of Daggers. I hate that Mat isnt even in it

I love
Rand- Just a beautiful transformative arc, and his interactions with LTT are some of the most interesting I've read
Egwene- I really relate to Egwene a lot, and I find her arc as Amyrlin to be one of the most fun to read even in the slump
Mat- Who doesn't love Mat? No seriously, who doesn't?
Nynaeve- As a sort of elder sibling figure/guardian, I really relate to her motives in joining the Ta'veren and Eggy on their journey. Also, her and Lan's relationship is so gosh dang healthy.
Aviendha- All the Aiel are super interesting, and Avi is just kind of a bean.
Perrin- Perrin is the kind of person I would look up to IRL, He's just so committed to his moral code, and that's something I share with him.
Moiraine- I have a thing for mentor characters.
I hate
Cadsuane- To quote Brandon himself "Cadsuane, you're not my real mom. I want my real mom back, and her name is Moiraine"
The Shaido Aiel- couldn't they have just been done after Dumai's Wells
Liandrin- She's so obviously Black Ajah from the moment you meet her, and I really hate her for being the cause of Egwene's tenure as a Damane
Gawyn- Randland's number 1 Emo, who makes rash unplanned decisions
I also hate hate hate Cadsuane, Gawyn, AND I also despise Egwene. Egwene was so infuriating for me. "I'm going to disagree with every single thing Rand says just because I CAN."

He deserves Justice and rest! I would love for him to see that his efforts over that tremendously long period of time were rewarded in some way

Tien and the Sleepless

While all these thoughts are cool.. You yourself have disproved this theory.
You quoted Sanderson saying that Tien was a Lightweaver. Well, if you actually read the books you can see that EVERY time someone physically interacts with Shallan's Lightweaving, it "fuzzes". So, I have a hard time imagining Tien Lightweaving his corpse and Kaladin holding it for HOURS without Kaladin noticing the very distinct "fuzz" when physically breaching the illusion. Sanderson ALWAYS references the "fuzzing" when someone interacts with the illusion, even if it's Shallan herself.
I like your thinkin though. Keep at it, slugger.
