Doubts began to flood Mike's mind. He began to walk away from the small group. He needed to be alone. He couldn't take all the noise. Everyone talking about failure. Because he knew, deep down, that nobody had failed as badly as him.

Hope. That word stung. How could there still be hope. After everything that had happened with Eddie. After everything that had happened before.

Mike looks up. "Just... punish me. I can't feel it anyways."

Mike stumbles slightly, but doesn't push back. Why am I even trying anymore. They don't need me.

Mike finally sees the blood all over Vena, and something snaps. He grabs her wrist and converts the magical energy around her to healing. He steps in front of her and up to the being of light. "What..." Mike takes a shaky breath. "What do you want?"

"I...know..." Mike doesn't try to resist the bullets. He can't even feel the pain anyway, though he wishes he could.

Mike looked up, his gaze off in the distance. He opened his mouth to spea- The bullet passes through Mike, and his skin heal immediately. What was that? Does it even matter?

Mike fell to the ground, wishing the scrapes on his knees wouldn't heal. They didn't do as he wished. They never did. Why can't I ever do anything right? Maybe I should just stop trying to help others. They only end up getting hurt....

"What will you do to them?" Mike asks, his voice barely a whisper.

"I...I can't let you take them. They're all I have..."

Mike keeps his mouth shut, not wanting to say what immediately came to mind. This time, he managed to dodge the knife.

"I wish you could." The blast of air throws Mike to the ground. The scrapes heal immediately. Mike growls and gets back to his feet.

The moment the knife moves, Mike dashes towards Eddie and Lil once more. @The Wandering Wizard

Mike froze the knife centimeters away from piercing his skin. He knew it wouldn't cause any lasting damage, but that didn't stop him from being scared. I can't do anything. Oh shades why can't I do anything. "Please....they're my friends...they didn't do anything wrong..."

Mike realizes that it was just air the entire time. He feels the pressure lessen and he is able to stand again. He walks towards the intruders once again. "Please, just let them go. We don't want to hurt you."

His breath is knocked out of his lungs as Mike is thrown against a nearby building. He gets to his knees, but can't stand up quite yet. He breaths heavily, and tries to untie the vine that remains wrapped around his ankle. @The Wandering Wizard

The whip wraps around Mike's leg causing him to trip again, though causing nearly no damage to his body this time. Mike groans as he gets back up. Here goes nothing. "Leave before I have to force you to."

Mike reflexes don't prove strong enough to dodge the knife flung towards him, embedding it's in his gut. Mike trips, which only pushes the dagger in deeper. He groans and rips the blade out. A cry escapes his lips but after a few moments, he appears to be completely healed though out of breath. He gets back up to his feet and continues running. What am I doing? How am I even going to stop them?

I won't be able to stop them, Mike realized. But I have to at least try. For Eddie. Mike runs towards the two unknown figures, unsure what he'll do once he gets there.

My brothers and I are planning on going trick-or-treating on October 30th.
I need ideas for other Halloween pranks...
