  1. Favorite number? 10 And thank you. I do quite like being a happy cat
  2. Covered. What am I? An uncultured savage? Then again, most of us are uncultured savages for being able to read
  3. For me it'd be a toss up between a Skybreaker (Szeth style) or Dustbringer. I try to be a pretty even tempered person, but if I was dropped into Roshar I'd probably find that alot of people could use alot of smiting. P. S. You guys are really friendly here!
  4. Sure... But I done some lurking in the past hour so let me just... *pulls out metal detector*
  5. About 2 or 3 years ago now I had the pleasure of being invited to a sandbox self-insert game set in the Song of ice and fire world. It was ran for me and a few other people but we were all doing stuff solo so it was mostly a solo game. It was great. I took over a city, had an apprentice I was teaching, was meeting diplomats from other city states. Great game. The game ended when the GM got busy IRL and couldn't dedicate enough time to the game. Now, having really gotten into literally everything by Sanderson, I hope to try this again but this time in the cosmere. I am looking to play in or to GM a solo game for someone based in the cosmere. I'm open to discussing exactly where we start, what we start with and so on. Id prefer to start us off on Roshar (due to the larger amount of material avaliable to work with both if I'm a player or a GM) but world hopping will be gotten to eventually I think. In terms of my GMing skill, I'll try my best and will take feedback, but I don't consider myself to be the best GM to have ever lived so no promises :-) Please let me know if you're interested in playing or (dare I hope) running this (or potentially both). If any additional information is needed, similarly don't be afraid to ask.
  6. Favorite magic system? Hmm... I suppose it depends on the criteria. Overall I'd say it's a tie between awakening and surges, with me leaning more towards the surges. Elantris showed us too little for me to be overly invested into it. Mistborn is godlike in terms of combat potential but I like the "steel and gunpowder" feel a tiny bit less than I like high fantasy flavoured magic.
  7. Have been hearing how great "Stormlight archive" is. Started hearing a few years back I think about a year after book 1 came out. Took me until about a year ago to fully get into it (tried about 2-3 years ago but got abit confussled by beginning of the way of kings with so many things going on). Then I listened to the graphic audio version of the stormlight books. Then listened to Warbreaker, re-listened to Mistborn which I have read a while back, then mistborn sequels, then elantris. Now back to Stormlight archive. Also listening to the various short stories as I go, and will get to white sand in a bit. As far as I'm concerned Sanderson is the best fantasy writer currently alive (potentially ever) for how well he writes... Basically everything.
