I started with Mistborn, Era 1 then Era 2. I don't know if that's the right place to start but it's where I started. Elantris would maybe be a better start as it's only 1 book & was his first.

Thanks  Haven't read any of his Legion stuff either so it's a for both my collection & my reading.

I saw back in black for Kelsier at the end of the last Wax & Wayne book as a fitting song, it's epic & kinda fits. I could see a scene cutting to him walking away epically with it playing in the background! Also Sound of Silence (disturbed cover) for when Elend sees everyone dying around him & he meets his fate.

I love the Emend & Vin one, captures them perfectly!

If Sanderson wrote text books people would pay attention in school!

You should actually read the Secret History if you finished Mistborn 4-5-6 also ( with Wax, Marasi....)

Yeah I'm all up to date other than the secret history, it's on my to read list & shall be done very soon!

Ah that’s so hard to choose! It’s definitely one of the Mistborn characters, probably Kelsier because of his epic Obi-Wan moment. Plus.... there’s always another secret!

Haven't read any of the Stormlight stuff yet, heard so many good things about it though so I'm super excited to read it once I finish the Reckoners series!

I loved Mistborn 1st & 2nd era (as he's now officially calling them after ditching their original 1.5 name). Reckoners is fab but I think the magic system in Mistborn may suit your style a little more. Era 1 is full of gritty characters and desperation whereas era 2 has a lighter tone to it. Elantris was his first & Warbreaker is kind of like Elantris in a mirror so both of those are equally fab! Happy reading

I've decided to make it my life work (ok slightly dramatic maybe it's more of a hobby) to try and collect signed first editions from Mr Sanderson. Can anyone tell me the publishing date of the Legion series for the FE's please?

I've tried Google but it just gives me a million places to buy his books with no real info.
