I've decided to start on a huge project; I'm going to write a Shakespearean sonnet for each of the 16 shards! Because much is unknown about many of the shards still, this will probably be extending over a large period of time. However, I recently finished the Sonnet of Ruin. Enjoy!
 

Sonnet 1 of 16: Ruin

In nothing will "forever" be obtained

For everything must dwindle and decay

All men would wish me from my work abstained

But if without, the same would all things stay

I bring about the final days of all

For that which has begun, I am the end

The rusting of the pure must sure befall;

The ruining of what man can't defend

All lanterns must, at ultimate, burn out

And all created must return to void

Ordained from their beginning was this route,

For nothing is complete until destroyed

By me is every ending prearranged

For everything is lost if nothing's changed
