    They mean the specific interpretation meant in the book, not just what the word means. I doubt Roshar has the same word for both like English.

    Welcome! Chaos is supposedly writing a Cosmere Guide, but other than that, I'd look around the General Theories board, see what's there. Feel free to PM me or someone you consider intelligent (XP) if you have questions. We throw around a lot of lingo and it can be REALLY confusing if you don't know what's what.     Yes, Feather, take 10 AWESOME POINTS. I'd say the best advice would be to get in good with Rubix. (IRL friendships FTW!) OR you could be EVEN MORE AWESOME and join the Nexus RP! So much fun. Yes, I'm biased, what of it? Have you read any of Garth Nix's other stuff like The Seventh Tower or the Keys to the Kingdom series? Those are awesome, though, sadly, I haven't read the Abhorsen books so I can't compare. Yay for aspiring writers!

    I actually went the opposite direction. I found Charlie through Doctor Who and then Nerdfighteria through him, and from there I discovered SO MUCH that was going on.

    WHAT!? You've never seen Doctor Who and yet you're listening to Chameleon Circuit? WEIRD. But that's way cool. I can't help but sing along with Exterminate, Regenerate. But the album gets so much cooler if you know what it's referencing. Especially Exterminate Regenerate, Blink, Journey's End and well, everything.

    Lucky. Vivid dreams with specific details rather than specific feelings, are rare for me. The most specific dream I can remember was that I was jumping down stair shaped cliffs in a car at about a hundred miles an hour, just bouncing down cliffs, and my cousin was driving. The thing I really remember is the sense of my gut doing somersaults.
