  1. Maybe Dalinar was not healed at all. Perhaps the amnesia was conditional on some condition being satisfied. Now the condition has been satisfied, so the memories have returned. Do we know what Dalinar's boon was?
  2. Something very bad for Vasher...Perhaps something relating to Nightblood? Vasher has a lot of bad history around the sword. He co-created it with good intentions. Nightblood would have been a huge achievement. Then he sees Nightblood used in the Manywar and is horrified. He realizes what he has done. Compounding his horror, he has to kill someone he cares about deeply to prevent the method of Nightblood’s creation from getting out. Roshier artificers are making advancements with fabrial technology. Nightblood is an incredibly dangerous weapon, in the wrong hands. Odium might desire more such weapons. With the sword on Roshier, Odium now more connected to Roshier and Nightblood becoming involved in events, perhaps Vasher’s great fear will be realized- someone will reverse engineer an equivalent to Nightblood.
  3. It’s unclear (and maybe someone can clarify) the relationship between the Stormfather and Honor (the Shard). Highstorms predate Honor’s arrival on Roshial. There were some Spren around before Honor arrived. Bits of Investiture left by Adonalsium that gained sentience. Syl identified the Stormfather as her father. Spren are manifestations..sentient beings that represent natural processes (flamespren, starspren, windspren) or feelings (awespren, painspren). Perceptions (of themselves and others) affects Spren. Highstorms are a dominating facet of existence on Roshial. Makes me think Stormfather was one of the first Spren to gain sentience, and has significant power on his own. There’s some connection between windspren and Honorspren, according to Syl. Maybe when Honor arrived, he sunk his own Investiture into the highstorms, further empowering the Stormfather and creating a symbiosis between them. As one of the oldest and strongest Spren, and one strongly connected to his Investiture, seems logical that Honor would turn to the Stormfather as he died, giving him the visions to pass on. Since much of the world sees the Stormfather as a manifestation of the Almighty, seems logical that belief would reinforce/buttress the Stormfather’s power and identity. Because people believe he is the Almighty, he becomes the Almighty, as much as is possible.
  4. My best guess at the moment is a non-sentient Spren is the binding/cognitive framework around which solidified Stormlight adheres, showing up in the Physical realm as Shardplate. The armor sees itself as a whole entity, which is why it can always be regrown when shattered, even if pieces are lost. I wonder what Shardplate looks like in Shadesmar. Total speculation: Soulcasting like we see from Shallan’s POV is how Shardplate is created. A conventional suite of armor is convinced to change, to become the matrix around which Stormlight can adhere. The convincing is facilitated by a bonded Spren, much like how Pattern facilitated with Shallan and the ship.
  5. I think Dalinar has kept the honorblade for himself. He has a tendency of hording power and authority. He knows he’s not getting a blade via the Stormfather. I like he idea of him giving the blade to Navani, but it seems unlikely. Dalinar seems a chauvinist/traditionalist who doesn’t see woman as fighters. I also don’t see subtlety as his strong suit, which is why he’s sucking so hard at politics (along with hording power rather than delegating). He’s already hidden having a blade once. Why not do it again.
  6. Seems a lot unknown at this point. Since Brandon refused to elaborate, Vasher’s method of harvesting Stormlight could have story implications. I wonder what what the equivalency is. How much Stormlight equals one Breath? Even Breaths seem not exactly equivalent. In warbreaker there is mention of some people having particularly strong Breath, plus there the Divine Breath of the Returned. Could be that that a single gem equals a few Breaths. Could be that Vasher can store Stormlight just like he stores Breath, and therefore have a stockpile. I wonder if Stormlight can help him reach the Heightenings. Can it fuel Awakening off of Nalthis? We know Nightblood can also feed on Stormlight. Once it’s taken in by a conscious entity, is Investiture all just one pool to draw from?
