Avandar is the coolest character from Michele West SunSword series.

He is the Warlord and when he kills someone he receives the remainder of their lifespan   

Even the Gods fear him

Read furies of Calderon (and the next 5 in the series)by Jim Butcher. 

Great coming of age story with cool magic system. 

Can someone request that Brandon write a novella that has Hoid taking a class on the fine Art of Naming from Master Elodin

I first heard of Brandon when he was selected to complete WoT. My initial thoughts were "oh no!!!" But he wrote Jordan as good as Jordan did, so I picked up WoK and WoR and was totally in awe. Then I read Mistborn and came across the odd name of Hoid...and then discovered the Cosmere. (INSERT SNOOPY DANCE)  My wife (who is also a big fan) makes fun of me fangirling.
