  1. thanks (= I've read most of Brandon's books. The ones I haven't read are the Alcatraz books, any Infinity Blade stories, The Bands of Mourning, Secret History, Allomancer Jak and the Pits of Eltania, Dreamer, HARRE, The Wheel of Time, Edgedancer, or Arcanum Unbounded essays. I know some stuff about the Cosmere. It's so awesome!!
  2. Ok, I won't eat them thanks!
  3. I've read all the Mistborn books except The Bands of Mourning and Secret History
  4. The Lies of Locke Lamora is good
  5. Hi bleeder! What happens if I eat a cookie?
  6. Hi Walin. I'm fairly new too
  7. Brandon seems to try his best to write his awesome books fast while also doing signings and stuff which is cool, and he's still writing them fast so far. I hope he just keeps doing what he's doing, especially as he seems happy with his lifestyle.
  8. Hi I'm newish to the forums but I hadn't posted one of these until now. so, hiiiiii. I'm Flynn. I like you guys because you're nice and like things that I like too. Thanks for inviting me and other new members to introduce ourselves, because I'm shy but I want to talk to you guys about cool Brandon Sanderson books and stuff Thanks for reading (=
  9. Maybe make it an issue you learn about in the book. perhaps wizards are seen as kind of taboo because they may have deliberately harmed themselves for power? Edit: Sorry this is kind of late to the party
  10. Brandon seems to like leaving things a little open at the end of a series, so you can imagine the stories that happen later yourself, and so it doesn't feel like everything was 'used up' in one series.
  11. Maybe at the end of the book Larcener had a store of powers left to give out, so he gave away what he had left before he went away.
  12. Maybe the Cosmere is one of the universes in the Quantum Multiverse but it's VERY far off from the Reckoners universe, allowing such drastic differences, like the different magic rules, the absence of Earth, etc.
  13. It seems like the map probably has not been distorted, because otherwise the pictures would be distorted. (Unless pictures were made up after distorting the map?) The tree constellation might be representative of Autonomy? (Plants do their own thing automatically, unlike animals). The lamp for Sel is inanimate, which fits with the shards on Sel (Devotion and Dominion) being dead. Also for the lamp, if it's a genie lamp then maybe that links to Devotion and Dominion (genie is devoted to and dominated by its 'master') I wonder if Ambition is the 'opposite' intent to the Shard that just wants to survive (like Preservation and Ruin, or Devotion and Dominion)
